He's from the same universe as Swiftkill and friends - but lived and died many generations ago.

Nightingale is probably the most masterful hunter thats living at his time. He's the only wolf to take down a Great Horn (megaloceros) single-handedly. His techniques can only be described as artful. Quite a bit older than he looks, he is very patient, has a smart sense of humor and is wise on a wide range of topics. He has a rather keen interest in human affairs, although the site of his dark form frightens villagers.
